The goal of the Baltimore Hygiene Bank is to combat challenges to accessing critically need personal, oral, baby, household and specialty hygiene items for Baltimore city residents. We believe that access to affordable and accessible hygiene items are a basic human right; and every person deserves to be able to access affordable and quality hygiene items as needed.

By purchasing hygiene items in bulk, through wholesale supplier and liquidation sales, we leverage our purchasing power to get quality hygiene brands at lower that market-rate. This helps our members by allowing us to reduce the price for the hygiene items and brands that we purchase every day.

The average household membership holder saves an average of $42 per month, or approximately $504 per year. This an immense savings that families can redirect into our necessary household expenses.

Membership to the Baltimore Hygiene Bank is granted for 6 months at a time. All members must submit an application that provides information about their household size, their hygiene needs and other information critical to ensuring that we are providing support to households that can most benefit from accessing the Baltimore Hygiene Bank. All members of the Baltimore Hygiene Bank must be Baltimore city residents. No exceptions can be made.
