The Baltimore Hygiene Bank is a program of Parts of Peace that sources low cost personal, baby, oral hygiene, household and speciality hygiene items and provides them to members that face barriers to accessing low cost and affordable hygiene items at a deeply discounted rate. 

 The program is designed to increase hygiene access and combat hygiene poverty in Baltimore city and beyond by subsidizing the cost of essential hygiene items like body wash, toothpaste, diapers, razors, deodorant, dish soap, feminine hygiene items, older adult items, laundry pods/detergents and more. Items are priced to be affordable most items ranging in price from FREE-$7.00 for full-sized hygiene items in popular brands.

What the Baltimore Hygiene Bank Offers

Oral Hygiene 

Toothpaste, toothbrushes, mouthwash, etc. 

Feminine Hygiene 

Pads, tampons, menstrual cups, feminine wash, etc.

Baby Hygiene 

Diapers, baby wipes, baby wash, baby lotion, etc.

Household Hygiene 

Laundry pods, Laundry detergent, Dryer sheets, Scent boosters, etc.

Older Adult Hygiene 

Adult diapers, denture adhesive, bed pads (chucks), barrier cream, etc.

Personal Hygiene

Body Wash, lotion, deodorant, razors, shaving cream, etc.

How it Works

The Baltimore Hygiene Bank purchases wholesale and discounted hygiene items in the categories of personal hygiene, baby & children's' hygiene, older adult hygiene, feminine hygiene, oral hygiene, household hygiene, health and more.

Items are then provided to members of the Baltimore Hygiene Bank at subsidized pricing (with some items being free for eligible households) and provides quick and low cost delivery for a flat fee per order.

To receive hygiene items from the Baltimore Hygiene Bank, clients must sign up for a free membership. This program is members only and each membership application is subject to review based on need as indicated in the application. Due to high demand and limited inventory, the Baltimore Hygiene Bank cannot accept all prospective members.  After membership is approved, clients may begin to shop for individual items or purchase cost-saving hygiene kits & boxes.
